our services

We have a depth and breadth of technical expertise developed over many years that spans all aspects of the door hardware business.

bespoke design

If you can draw it, we can make it.

When the catalogue doesn’t have it, we make it. For over 30 years, architects and designers have brought us their most demanding briefs, from landmark towers and hotels to private residences. We custom design door handles, entrance pulls, cabinet hardware, bathroom accessories, facade elements, signage, branded door furniture and even letterboxes. Every piece is designed, engineered and finished in house, so we control quality and lead time from first sketch to final polish.

what we offer

Bespoke pieces can be made in solid brass, 304 and 316 grade stainless steel, aluminium, hardwood, and engineered concrete, and every stage of the work happens in our own workshop:

  • Industrial design and 3D CAD drawing
  • Prototypes for sign-off before production
  • Brass, stainless steel and aluminium stock on site
  • Laser and water jet cutting
  • Lathes, milling machines, presses and guillotines
  • Bending, folding and welding
  • Polishing and plating
  • Special finishes, including living brass and bronze
  • Powder coat in any colour from Dulux, Interpon and Jotun, with optional texture

how it works

Bring us an idea, a rough sketch, or a finished drawing. We’ll take it from there.

  1. Consultation. We meet to understand your brief, application, and budget, then develop the first design concept.
  2. Design and render. Our designers produce a detailed 3D render. Engineers resolve fixings, size, material, and construction, and we recommend finishes to suit the space.
  3. Approve and make. Once you sign off the drawings, the piece goes into production in our Melbourne workshop. Most custom designs take up to 8 weeks from approval, depending on the design and quantity.

from concept to your door

You approve at every stage. Nothing goes into production until you have seen it, held it, and signed off on it. You see and hold the product before it is made. That is the fundamental difference. A 3D-printed prototype in your hands eliminates the guesswork, the “it looked different in the render” conversations, and the costly rework that plagues this industry. A 0.25% rework rate is not a marketing claim. It is the direct result of this process.
